Who runs this site

Hai Bucharest is run by the Hai Bucharest team. For any question about your personal data, write to contact@haibucharest.com.

What data we collect

You don't need an account and we don't ask for personal data. The only thing the site stores is your light or dark theme choice, saved in your own browser (localStorage). It never reaches us, and you can clear it from your browser settings.

  • Hosting: the site is hosted by Cloudflare, which may process technical data such as your IP address to deliver the site and keep it secure.
  • Fonts: fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when you open the site.
  • Statistics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify you personally.
  • Email: if you write to us, we use your email address only to reply.

Advertising and cookies

The site shows ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar identifiers to show ads, measure their performance and, if you agree, personalise ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites.

On your first visit we ask for your consent through a consent message. You can accept, refuse or choose specific purposes, and change your choice at any time from the privacy settings link in that message. If you refuse, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised.

Learn how Google uses data on partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can manage personalised ads in Google My Ad Center.

Affiliate links

Some links may lead to booking platforms we partner with. When you click one, that platform may set its own cookies to record the referral. Its own privacy policy applies from that point.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct and delete your data, and to object to its processing. You can also file a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro). For any request, write to contact@haibucharest.com.
